A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) on October 8, 2007.  The signing of the MoU held at ITB was witnessed by Y.B. Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development. Y. Bhg. Prof Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri, UniKL’s President/CEO represented UniKL whilst ITB by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Djoko Santosa. Also present at the ceremony were Y. Bhg. Datuk Nam Marthinin (Director General, MARA) and Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zolkipli Abdul (Chairman, UniKL’s Council).

The signing of the MOU shall pave the way for more intensive collaboration activities between UniKL and ITB that would include exchange of faculties, scholars and graduate students; cooperation on joint scientific and technological research (R&D) efforts; organisation of joint workshops, symposium and conferences; delivery of joint and integrated programmes for graduate students and academic information exchange.
