UniKL MFI Diploma Graduates Further Study To France |
UniKL MFI Pre-France Unit has new enrollement for Pre France program in December 2008. This programme is specifically conducted for selected seven Diploma graduates from UniKL MFI who obtain sponsorship from Bahagian Penganjuran Pelajaran MARA to further their study in France under Skim Pelajar Cemerlang (SPC) programme. Among the selection criteria for this programme is CGPA result during their Diploma programme must be more than 3.5.
According to the UniKL MFI Pre-France Programme Coordinator, Dr. Jamel Othman, these students will attend Pre France preparation program for a duration of 4 months, and they are scheduled to leave for France on April 2008 to further their studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Computer Industry (Genie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle) at Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) Nice Sophia Antipolis, Nice, or Mechanical and Production Engineering (Genie Mecanique Productique) at Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) Aix en Provence, France. Throughout this preparation program, students will be taking related science and technical subjects including Intensive French course.
He also added that after the 4-month preparatory study in Malaysia, the students will leave for France to continue on a ‘bridging’ programme for another 3 months programme. They will then further move to their Third Year (Bachelor level) and a possibility to further until Fifth Year (Master level). This programme is collaboration between UniKL, MARA and Campus France/IUT in France.
