UniKL Signs MoU with Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education, Ministry of Higher Education

                 A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Kuala Lumpur and Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education, Ministry of Higher Education on December 17, 2008. The signing of the MoU held at Multipurpose Hall, Ministry of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development (MeCD) in Putrajaya. The event was witnessed by Y. B. Dato Noh Omar, Minister of MeCD and Y.B. Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Higher Education. Y. Bhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri, President/CEO represented UniKL whilst Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education by its Secretary General, Ministry of Higher Education,Y. Bhg. Datuk Dr. Zulkefli A. Hassan.
 
                The signing of the MoU shall pave the way for the more intensive collaboration activities between UniKL and Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education that would include exchange of academic staff, experts and students between both parties. The exchange may involve teaching assignments, new programmes development, curriculum development activities and R&D; training of administrators and lecturers of the Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education ; credit transfers and similar programmes between both Parties and the possibilities for mutual recognition of each party’s qualification and exchange of educational literature, educational aids, information on curriculum, educational experiments, printing of text books and demonstration materials as well as the organization of relevant exhibitions and seminars.
