Miniature Satellite Competition 2008 National Space Agency of Malaysia : UniKL MIAT was bestowed the Best Team Award After 6 months of hard work since July 2008, UniKL MIAT able to smile proudly as they received their sweetest achievement and begged the Team Award for Efficient Integration of Electrical System, Software System, Mechanical System and Structural System (Aviation Composite) at Miniature Satellite (CANSAT) Competition. This competition organised by National Space Agency of Malaysia and participated by universities students throughout Malaysia. Participants were required to design and build their own miniature satellite and they had gone through several levels to proof the integrity of their satellite as below; o Preliminary Design Review o Critical Design Review o Launching of satellite o Acquisition of data from satellite o Analysis of data from satellite The launching site for the satellite and award presentation ceremony was held at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
