After a being a successful host last year, once again UniKL is given the honour by hosting for this international event - CIMB Group World Universities Peace Invitational Debate (WUPID) 2008, from 13^th to 18^th December 2008.
 
        With H&G Strategic Communication Sdn. Bhd. as the organizer, this annual programme is a platform for top universities parlimentary debaters to debate and voice out issues on peace as part of promoting global peace. More than 30 top universities in the world participated in this debate. Among the universities are Cambridge University, Oxford University, University of Sydney, National University of Singapore, Harvard University, University of Melbourne and many others.
