in Division 1 of Kejohanan Bolasepak Liga Universiti Malaysia
(MASUM UniLeague 2008)

Universiti Kuala Lumpur Football team won Division 1B in Kejohanan Bolasepak Liga Universiti Malaysia (MASUM UniLeague 2008). This championship was organised by Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia and co-organised with Football Association Malaysia (FAM), Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

The game started from January, 2008 and ended on August 17, 2008 at Bangi, Selangor. UniKL had beaten seven teams from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM), Universiti Darulnaim Malaysia (UDM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) before won the title.

By winning Division 1B, UniKL Football Team also won third place in overall Division 1. For next season in the year 2009, UniKL will be in the same league with Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Multimedia University (MMU) and Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) in Liga Premier MASUM UniLeague 2009.
