UniKL Student Affairs Division organised a social responsibility programme called “Program Beramal, Berfikir dan Berzikir” held at Muslim Cemetery Kuala Lumpur - Karak Highway on March 14, 2009. This programme was organised as part of Bulan Dakwah which was launched by Yang Diperta Agong Al- Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al- Muktafi Billah Shah on Februari 19, 2009

Aimed to endeavor social and spiritual awareness among students, this programme exposed UniKL students on their social and spiritual responsibility as students and Malaysian citizens. Also involved in this event were Tuan Hj. Meharomi Muhamad and Ustaz Abdul Malik Ghazali from Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI), Encik Azniee Abdullah, Head of UMNO Youth Bahagian Batu, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), PEMADAM Bahagian Batu, and Darul Kifayah Orpahange, Daerah Batu.

Many students attended this voluntary gotong-royong programme as they helped to clean-up the cemetery premise, painting the wall of the cemetery, and repairing old graves. Recite of Yaasin and Tahlil were led by Ustaz Abdul Malik Ghazali from JAWI followed by refreshments by PEMADAM Bahagian Batu.
