UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI) was visited by delegates from University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany on March 17, 2009. The objective of this visit was to expose their students on technical and vocational education system and facilities in UniKL and to enlighten them on opportunities and future prospects in Mechatronical Engineering specifically in Malaysia.

15 students from Erlangen-Nuremberg University led by Mr. Michael Bleier and Mr. Michael Groeschel attended the visit. UniKL MFI was presented by Mr. Ahmad Yasir Md Said, Section Head of Mechanical and Manufacturing who facilitated activities during the visit. The two-hour visit began with a slide presentation on UniKL, followed by a campus tour where students had the chance to visit MFI industrial automation and mechanical workshops.

Mr. Zalhan, Section Head of Industrial Automation introduced the visitors to UniKL MFI Robocon workshop where MFI students prepared their Robocon project to participate in the annual international competition Robocon 2009 which will be held in Japan. The visit ended with refreshments and photo session.
