UniKL winning team.

UniKL football team has defeated UPM team 4-2 in the fourth round match of MASUM Unileague held at UPM Stadium on March 14, 2009. The victory prided UniKL to move forward to the next round of MASUM Unileague.

The first goal of the match came from UPM on the 9^th minute, but it was cut short when UniKL equalized the score five minutes later by Samsul Fadhli of UniKL MFI. UniKL team was moved by a boost of confidence when Mohd Syafik Mohd Zahari of UniKL MIAT blasted the second goal for UniKL to lead the game 10 minutes before the end of first half.

The opening of the second half witnessed UniKL MIAT’s Mohd Syafik Mohd Zahari scored the third goal on the 15^th minute. However, UPM striked back 10 minutes later to marked the score 3-2. Few minutes later, UniKL destroyed UPM’s hope to win the league when Samsul Fadhli scored the winning goal five minutes before the match ended, securing the 4-2 win.

UniKL will face three more matches which will begin in July 2009. The team is currently preparing for MASUM FA Cup Carnival which will commence on May 13 to 20, 2009.
