In parallel with its vision and mission, UniKL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB), France to boost the development of its entrepreneurship and academic programmes. The signing ceremony was held on April 28, 2009 at UniKL City Campus, attended by UniKL Deputy President (Academic & Technology), Prof. Dr. Mohamad Azemi Mohamad Nor and Dr. Judith Bouvard, Dean and Director, GGSB.

This collaboration aimed to be the platform for both universities to exchange expertise in study programs and curricular as well as to organise collaborative programmes between the Parties at Preparatory, Undergraduate, Postgraduate levels, short courses, corporate and executive training.

This MoU is a positive step for UniKL as it has recently announced the formation of a new school known as International School of Entrepreneurship, UniKL (ISE) which will soon be launched in May 2009. ISE is a clear manifestation of UniKL’s effort to support entrepreneurship development programme in Malaysia and the establishment is consistent with UniKL’s mission statement.

It was hoped that the MoU between UniKL and GGSB will not only pave ways for better academic understanding but also involved exchange of academic staff and students from both universities in future years.

Also present during the ceremony were, UniKL Deputy President (Technopreneur & Student Affairs), Prof. Dr. Abu Talib Othman, Dr. Mohamed Hisham Hj. Yahya, Dr. Abdul Razak Abdul Hadi and Encik Azahari Jamaludin.
