 Y.B. Datuk Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Defence delivering his speech. | 40 young Thais who had undergone Assistant Nurses training programme at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Royal College of Medicine Perak (UniKL RCMP) was conferred their course completion certificate by Y.B. Datuk Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Defence, on June 11, 2009 in a ceremony held at Nikko Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
The programme, which was officiated by Y.A.Bhg. Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah on August 30, 2008, is an effort spearheaded by TASK FORCE 2010 (Malaysia) and TASK FORCE 960 (Thailand) to help to bring peace to southern Thailand. 40 assistant nurses from the district of Pattani, Narathiwat and Yala completed the one year nursing programme in surgical, emergency treatment, obstetric, gynaecology and community health care.
Y.B. Datuk Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad applauded this joint effort by TASK FORCE Malaysia and Thailand with UniKL RCMP to bring peace to southern Thailand and reaffirmed government’s undivided support to the government of Thailand.
