UniKL’s Student Participated in MMOC 2009, Toronto, Canada

Nurhana Mohammed Tamin, a final year student in Data Communication UniKL British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI) has made UniKL proud for being the only participant representing Malaysia in the 2009 World Competition on Microsoft Office (MMOC 2009) Toronto, Canada. This international competition has attracted participation from countries worldwide including Japan, Argentina and Mexico. Nurhana competed with 40 other participants for the grand prize of RM 17,000 scholarship.

Nurhana was selected to participate in the competition after scoring full-mark during the National MMOC 2009 held on 8th to 10 July, 2009. A prize giving ceremony on the National MMOC 2009 was held at UniKL BMI, Gombak where she walked home with the sponsorship prize amount to RM15,000 by Insyirah Technology Sdn. Bhd.
