MIIT Student Bagged MERIT Award at APICTA 2009

Muhammad Fadhli Kamil Ahmad Fauzi of MIIT UniKL City Campus, a Bachelor student in Computer Animation Design, took home the MERIT Award in the recent MSC Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA 2009) after he impressed the judges with his animation project entitled ‘PESAPERA-Malaysia at War’. 

The event was held at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) on October 8, 2009 where Muhammad Fadhli Kamil competed against finalists from Lim Kok Wing University, Multimedia University (MMU) and Kolej Damansara Utama (KDU). ‘PESAPERA-Malaysia at War’ was nominated for the category of Best Tertiary Student Projects - Creative Multimedia, and has manage to impressed the judges for the MERIT Award. 

The Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) is an international Awards Programme initiated by the Multimedia Developement Corporation (MDeC) to provide a platform for innovators and entreprenuers in the ICT sectors in the region to benchmark their products and to network. It is also aimed at stimulating economic & trade relations and technology transfer, providing companies with business matching opportunities and exposure to venture capitalists and investors, and increasing community awareness in ICT.
