UniKL and Moscow Aviation Institute, Russia (MAI) are set to pool their aviation resources to give wings to UniKL Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) students who wish to pursue engineering degree programmes in Russia. A Memorandum of Agreement was inked by both parties on November 30, 2009 at UniKL City Campus, Kuala Lumpur to preside this academic collaboration. Under this agreement, UniKL MIAT’s students who excel and qualified under the Pre-University Foundation Programme will be selected to pursue an engineering programme in MAI, whilst MAI will provide necessary assistance in the curriculum and syllabus structure for the implementation.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri, President/CEO, UniKL, secured the signing with Dr. Michail Kuprikov, Vice-Rector on Education, MAI, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamad Azemi Mohd Noor, UniKL Deputy President (Academic & Technology), and Mr. Vitaly I. Miknis, Prorector for International Relations, MAI.
