CyberSecurity Malaysia and UniKL Cooperates to Buffer Cyberspace

In conjunction with World Computer Security Day 2009 (WCSD) held from November 30 to December 2, 2009, CyberSecurity Malaysia launched strategic collaborations by exchanging Memorandum of Understanding with various IT corporations and educational institutions. Y.B Datuk Seri Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation graced the ceremony on December 1, 2009 at The Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur and witnessed the exchange of the MoU. Among the list was Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (MIIT, UniKL City Campus), represented by UniKL Deputy President (Academic & Technology), Prof. Dr. Mohamad Azemi Mohd Noor. This collaboration signified a resolute effort by both UniKL and CyberSecurity to advance in cyber security to move towards a safer cyberspace. The event also witnessed the launching of CyberSecurity Malaysia Malware Research Centre.
