ARIES, a student organisation under Malaysian Institute of Information Technology, Universiti Kuala Lumpur ( MIIT, UniKL City Campus ) has recently organised ARIES Malaysia Business IT Case Challenge 2009, an inaugural national level undergraduate Business IT Case competition from December 2-5, 2009.

Funded by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and various leading industry partners of Universiti Kuala Lumpur, ARIES Malaysia is the first of its kind case competition ever held in Malaysia.

The theme for the competition is Rapid Business Improvement in IT Spectrum.

Assoc. Prof. Dr Roslan Ismail, Dean of Malaysian Institute of Information Technology, Universiti Kuala Lumpur and Patron of ARIES Malaysia 2009, officiated the Awards Dinner and Closing Ceremony as well as presented trophies and prizes to the winning teams.

A total of 15 teams from 11 top universities across the country participated in the competition, namely:
o    UniKL Malaysian Institute of Information Technology ( Team A & B )
o    International Islamic University Malaysia
o    Sunway University College
o    UCSI University
o    Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
o    Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
o    Universiti Putra Malaysia ( Team A & B )
o    Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
o    Universiti Teknologi Petronas ( Team A, B & C )
o    Universiti Utara Malaysia
o    Universiti Tenaga Nasional

A total of 12 judges from UniKL’s leading industry partners were involved in the competition, among them are:
