UniKL has established a Spanish connection with Universidad Politecnica De Valencia, Spain (UPV) to enhance its academic resources through a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony held on January 25, 2010 at UniKL City Campus.

Under this agreement, UniKL and UPV will embark on collaboration and co-operation in exchanging staff, publications, academic materials, joint research and teaching activities, participation in seminars and academic meetings, as well as to articulate undergraduate and postgraduate students from UniKL into UPV degree programmes.

The MoU was signed between Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri, President/CEO, UniKL and Juan Juliá Igual, Rector UPV, witnessed by UniKL Deputy President (Academic & Technology), Prof. Dr. Mohamad Azemi Mohamad Nor and Juan Miguel Martínez Rubio, Vicerrector de Relaciones Internacionales y Cooperación, UPV. Also present were Tn. Hj. Mohamed Hisham Abdul Ghani Deputy President (Management & Services), and Prof. Dr. Abu Talib Othman, Deputy President (Technopreneur & Student Affairs).
