11 participants from various polytechnic institutions of Nigeria were celebrated at UniKL City Campus on March 24, 2010 upon their success in the completion of the CNC Machine Training Programme conducted at UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI). Y.B. Datuk Dr. Adham Baba, Chairman, UniKL had graced the Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony to mark the formalisation on the completion of the two-week programme.

The training which was organised by Technopreneur Development and Innovation Division, commenced from March 13 to 26, 2010, had a strong focus on CNC lathe and milling machine with the objective of providing participants with the skills to edit programme and operate the CNC Machine. Besides incorporating hands-on training, this programme also embeds tourism elements where participants were taken for cultural visits to fascinating places in Malaysia such as the Historical City of Malacca, Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Putrajaya.
In conjunction with this event, UniKL took the opportunity to seal a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kaduna Polytechnic of Nigeria to extend further collaboration to provide means for the exchange of expertise and knowledge for the purpose of research, training and technical advisory. Engr. Dr. Danjuma Ismaila Isah, Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic of Nigeria ascertained the pact with Y.B. Datuk Dr. Adham Baba, Chairman of UniKL witnessed by Mr. Lawal Muhammad Jibrin, Deputy Rector, Kaduna Polytechnic of Nigeria and Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri, President/CEO of UniKL.
