A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between UniKL, MasterMalaysia Global Sdn. Bhd. and Yanshi City Government, Louyang, Henan, China, to initiate the process on the possibility of setting up a university in Yanshi City, Louyang, Henan. Under this agreement, UniKL will provide the syllabus, curriculum and education logistics for the establishment of the university, while MasterMalaysia Global Sdn. Bhd will provide financial investor of the project.

A simple signing ceremony was held at New Straits Times Press (NSTP), Kuala Lumpur on March 25, 2010 where UniKL President/CEO sealed the partnership with Managing Director, MasterMalaysia Global, Rosmawati Sayuti and Mayor of Yanshi City Government, Louyang, Henan Province, Republic of China.
