Universiti Kuala Lumpur Sealed a Collaboration with Kolej Yayasan Melaka (KYM) International

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) formalised its collaboration with Kolej Yayasan Melaka (KYM) International through signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA)) on May 21, 2010.  Through the collaboration, KYM International will conduct five bachelor programmes offered by Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (MIIT), UniKL City Campus and the programmes are :
o    Bachelor of Multimedia Technology (Hons) in Computer Animation Design
o    Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons) in Networking System
o    Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) in Computer System Security
o    Bachelor of Multimedia Technology (Hons) in Interactive Multimedia Design
o    Bachelor Business Technology (Hons) in Computer Entrepreneurial Management

All programmes will use UniKL curricula, syllabi and course works and will be taught by both academicians from KYM International and UniKL. Successful graduates who have completed the programmes will receive a bachelor degree from UniKL.

The signing ceremony was held in conjunction with the Closing Ceremony of World Chinese Muslim Trade and Culture Forum in Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC). The ceremony was graced by Y.A.B. Datuk Seri Haji Mohd. Ali bin Mohd. Rustam, Chief Minister of Melaka who is also the President of Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam (DMDI). Signing on behalf of UniKL was Y.Bhg. Prof. Dr. Mohd Azemi Mohd Noor, Deputy President (Academic & Technology) while KYM International was represented by its Chief Executive,  Y.Bhg. Datuk Saroni Judi.
