Team Dolphin-UniKL MIMET finally flying the flags of UniKL and Malaysia on the podium 1Malaysia International Dragon Boat Festival 2010, Putrajaya, which was held at 18th to 20th June 2010 in the Water Sports Complex Putrajaya, Precinct 6, Putrajaya for the dragon boat race 500m Malaysian and international opens. After facing almost 30 races for various categories, they finally clinched the silver and the bronze medals for Malaysia Open Under 23- Mixed Crews and the bronze for the International Open Under 23- Mixed crews. To reach this level, students of UniKL MIMET from all semester including foundation students and with different streams has attended nearly a month to undergo intensive training in MIMET and sacrificed their semester break and with the efforts that are not budge.

According to the "Anak Naga Elly," co-operation and trust of each member when rowing is the key to the success of our team, added by ‘Anak Naga’ Aiman, love spirit and struggle are a sense of the inspiration during the race."
Support from the residents of UniKL and MIMET in particular, has helped the team of 'Pink Dragons' to sunscreen face of this race in various categories for three days in Putrajaya. Chief contingent, 'Anak Naga’ Kecik had seen this sport can foster positive behavior and self-esteem personality of the student not only in competition, but also in the face of life at university and in society.

For the development of dragon boat sport in the UniKL, MIMET Dragon Boat Club will open participation to all the universities under the flag of UniKL to the next competition if there is a support and response from UniKL residents. The final words from the ‘Anak Naga’ Poon & Jay which have successfully completed the diploma in MIMET, "the game left a deep memory for us and all the ‘anak-anak naga' MDC”. MDC would like to appreciated and wish “all the best” to all Team Dolphin-UniKL MIMET and Coach ‘Mario’ in all fields of endeavor and thank you infinitely for the struggle in the success of this mission and to highlighted UniKL and MALAYSIA, ‘siapa kita’ ? ‘anak naga’ … ‘anak naga’…….. ‘BOLEH’
