The defending overall champion of the UniKL Student Sports Carnival, UniKL British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI) had once again hailed the Championship Trophy during the closing ceremony of the 6th UniKL Student Sports Carnival held on June 24, 2010. UniKL BMI, which is also the host campus for this year’s sports carnival had seized the trophy for five years in a row.

UniKL President/CEO, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri officiated to closing ceremony and presented the trophy to UniKL BMI Dean, Prof. Dr. Badri Abu Bakar. “In line with UniKL’s persistent effort in producing globally recognised technopreneurs, it is important that physical health and wellbeing of our students is not being forsaken. The high standards applied in sports such as, ethics, good morals and high values, as well as unity are indeed, the core attributes and quality that is constructive for human capital and nation building.”, Y. UniKL Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) was announced as the next host for the 7th UniKL Students’ Sports Carnival 2011.
