Recently moved to Cheras, Institute of Product Design and Manufacturing, UniKL welcomed a working visit by Y. Bhg. Datuk Dr. Adham Baba, Chairman Universiti Kuala Lumpur on August 3, 2010. During his visit to the new campus of IPROM, Datuk Adham Baba was escorted by Prof. Dr. Abu Talib Othman, Deputy Dean (Technopreneur & Student Affairs), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raja Aziz Raja Maarof, Dean IPROM, Head of Sections and Technical Staff to CAD CAM laboratory, hydraulic laboratory, library and classrooms. The technical staff gave a brief demonstration and explanation on the functionality of wire cut machine and demonstration on product prototyping.

He also met and spent a few minutes with the international students from Iran who are currently studying in the campus. After the working visit, there was a closed door short discussion between the Chairman, Deputy President, Dean, management and academic staff of IPROM to discuss on the possibility of enhancing and developing the new campus of IPROM.
