Malaysian Institute of Information Technology, UniKL City Campus (MIIT, UniKL City Campus) held its Dean’s Award Ceremony on August 6, 2010 at UniKL City Campus awarding a total of 193 Diploma and Bachelor students who excelled in their academic performance for the semester of January – May 2010.

This year’s ceremony witnessed the conferment of Anugerah Tokoh Pelajar and Anugerah Tokoh Pensyarah which are the highest recognition to a distinguished student and lecturer for their multiple accomplishments and contributions. Abdul Hadi Mohamad, student of Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) in Software Engineering was conferred the Anugerah Tokoh Pelajar, while lecturer, Mr. Mohd Nizam Husein was the recipient of Anugerah Tokoh Pensyarah.

MIIT Dean, Prof. Dr. Roslan Ismail along with Deputy Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahrulniza Musa conferred the awards at the ceremony. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Roslan remarked that for the first time this year, MIIT, UniKL is conducting an Exchange Student Programme with an animation institute in Jogjakarta, Indonesia for a semester. He urged all students to work harder to be selected for this programme.
