Another academic milestone for UniKL was established when a Memorandum of Understanding between Universiti Kuala  Lumpur and University of Science and Technology, Yemen (USTY) was ascertained on August 13, 2010 with a purpose to develop academic and educational cooperation and to promote mutual understandings between the universities.

A simple yet meaningful signing ceremony was held at UniKL MFI to formalise this collaboration, where UniKL President/CEO, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri penned down the pact with Vice Chancellor, Board of Directors, USTY, Prof. Dr. Dawood A. Al- Hidabi. The signing was witnessed by UniKL Deputy President (Academic & Technology), Prof. Dr. Mohamad Azemi Mohd Noor and Dr. Abdullateef M. Mohammed of USTY. Also present were UniKL MFI Dean, Assoc. Prof. Haron Abas and other UniKL MFI management members.
