UniKL Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT) has officially embarked on a collaborative venture with aviation and aerospace giant, Mil-Com Aerospace Group through a Memorandum of Understanding signing held at UniKL City Campus on November 26, 2010. Mil-Com Aerospace Group is one of the pioneer providers of aerospace engineering support services, aviation training and consultancy services in Singapore and Asia Region.

The signing of the MoU signified a cooperation that enables both parties to explore the extensive prospect and established resources of the aviation training available both at UniKL MIAT and Mil-Com Training Centre. According to Mil-Com President/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Eugene Lim Eu Jin, the collaboration will also help to create a platform for both parties to interact and access to each other facilities and expertise with a view to equipped the aviation personnel with the required skill-set that meet the high level of aviation safety standards and demands.

UniKL President/Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri, inked the pact with Mr. Eugene Lim Eu Jin, Mil-Com Aerospace Group President/Chief Executive Officer witnessed by UniKL Deputy President (Academic & Technology), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Azemi Mohd Noor and Mil-Com Aerospace Group Vice President, Mr. Anthony Tang Ing Ing. Also present were, UniKL Deputy President (Technopreneur & Student Affairs), Prof. Hj. Ahmad Zahir Mokhtar, UniKL MIAT Dean, Mr. Aziz Ismail Effendi.
