UniKL Strengthened its Connection with Republic of Yemen

UniKL has formalised cooperation with Ministry of Technical, Education & Vocational Training, Republic of Yemen and Higher Council for Community Colleges through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding held at UniKL Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI) on April 20, 2011.


The cooperation between Ministry of Technical, Education & Vocational Training, Republic of Yemen and Higher Council for Community Colleges, Republic of Yemen and UniKL is aimed to enhance the quality and attractiveness of the Programmes, exchange of expertise, experience and knowledge and also to mainstream the Technical and Vocational Education between the two countries. The cooperation between the parties also aimed at empowering the technical education and vocational training that will benefit the female students under the Ministry of Technical, Education & Vocational Training and community colleges in Yemen.


UniKL President/CEO, Y. Bhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri executed the signing of the MoU with Madam Lamia Yahiya Al-Eryani, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Technical Education & Vocational Training, Republic of Yemen and Dr. Abdulrahman Jamel, Head of Executive Board Council for Community Colleges witnessed by UniKL Deputy President (Technopreneur & Student Affairs), Prof. Ahmad Zahir Hj. Mokhtar, Dr. Mohammed H. Bulghaith, Dean of Luhaya Community College, Hodeidah, and  Assoc. Prof. Abdulgader H. Alkaff, Dean of Selayun Community College, Hadhramout.
