A Gold Medal for UniKL in ITEX 2011 |

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) won 4 medals at the Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2011 held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur from 20 until 22 May recently. UniKL won a gold medal through the Development of Low Cost Sandwich Structure for Non-Structural Application with High Strength and Stiffness, a project led by Khairul Dahri Mohd Aris together with Harzy Chu Omar and Nurul Izzati binti Mohd. Nordin from the Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (MIAT) The UniKL teams also brought back 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. ITEX 2011 has been officially inaugurated by Deputy Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI), Y.B. Datuk Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof on 20 May 2011. This annual event witnessed 511 research products being exhibited from throughout the country. A total of 23 categories were contested this year.
