UniKL and UNISBA, Indonesia Strengthened Partnership in Education

A Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony was held at UniKL City Campus on May 24, 2011 to formalise the collaboration between Universiti Kuala Lumpur and Universitas Islam Bandung, Indonesia (UNISBA) as an effort to further strengthened and expand the academic horizons between the two universities. This collaboration will pave ways for UniKL and UNISBA to explore potential cooperation in the Transfer Degree Programme (TDP) particularly, for the Business and Economics undergraduates. This MoU also defined the implementation of students and staff exchange programmes.

UNISBA which currently consist of 7,500 local and international students has continued to be a breeding ground for independent thought and progressive learning at the various level of study from undergraduate to postgraduate programmes. The university developed a strong vision to deliver a world-class education and research portfolio, providing a full and dynamic university experience, producing graduates who are distinctive in character and pursue strong international links.

Singing the MoU on behalf of UniKL were, UniKL President/CEO, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri whilst UNISBA was represented by its Rector, Prof. Dr. M. Thaufiq S. Boesoirie. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Abdul Razak Abdul Hadi, Head Of Section For Professional Services & Internalization, UniKL International School Of Entrepreneurship (UniKL ISE) and Prof. Dr. H. Edi Setiadi, Vice Rector I, UNISBA.
