A simple yet meaningful ceremony was held at UniKL City Campus on November 1, 2011 to mark the collaboration between Universiti Kuala Lumpur and University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) with the purpose of expanding the educational prospect for both universities.

The collaboration was formalised by UniKL President/CEO, Y. Bhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abdul Hakim Juri and Mr. Ravindra Bagi, Offshore Coordinator and Senior Lecturer, University of Technology Sydney, Australia through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Exchange Ceremony.

This collaboration signified cooperation between UniKL and UTS in terms of visits by and exchange of students for the purposes of study and research, interchange of staff for the purposes of research, teaching and discussions, exchange of information and research activities as well as joint participation in internationally funded projects.

During the ceremony a short presentation on the overview of UniKL was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jamel Othman, Director of UniKL International Office.

Also present were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Zahit Ali, Deputy Director, Institute of Research and Postgraduate Studies (IRPS, UniKL City Campus), Puan Nor Zunaini Abdul Kadir, Deputy Director, UniKL International Office.
