INTRODUCTION The Centre for Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) of UniKL works with various organisations to ensure our programmes are industry relevant. We are proud to introduce the Professional Diploma in Business Process Improvement, a programme jointly designed by UniKL and Motorola University. Motorola University is the corporate training arm of Motorola Inc and has been operating for more than 25 years as the learning and performance improvement vehicle for Motorola. The Professional Diploma in Business Process Improvement stresses on enhancing participants’ ability to apply the theories, skills and concepts learned in their respective workplace. Participants undertake real work related problems as projects to work on to gain first-hand experience in improving work and business processes. This is pertinent as the ability to constantly improve processes is critical for sustaining competitiveness. Modules
- Essential Of Management ( 24 hours / 3 days)
- Achieving Results Through People ( 16 hours / 2 days)
- Six Sigma Foundations : Introduction to DMAIC ( 24 hours / 3 days)
- Lean Enterprise ( 16 hours / 2 days)
- Cross Functional Process Mapping ( 16 hours / 2 days)
- Quality Function Deployment ( 16 hours / 2 days)
- Project Consultation and Coaching ( 16 hours / 2 days)
Objectives
- To prepare executives and managers to become more effective leaders and change agents in their organisations
- To provide participants with the skills, knowledge and tools they need to lead the organization to improve profits
- To prepare executives and managers for future roles, where they learn to manage uncertainty through planning, cross-functional collaboration and alignment
- To expose participants to real business issues and to enhance their problem solving skills
Entry Requirements
- Diploma with two (2) years working experience, or
- Degree with one (1) year working experience, or
- More than five (5) years working experience, and
- Proficiency in English language
