IRPS Research


Research Division

This division’s vital role is to promote, coordinate and the sourcing of funds for research in UniKL. IRPS will be the reference and coordinating center for all grant applications, both internal (STRG) and from external agencies (FRGS, eScience, Technofund, Innofund). The division will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of researches funded by the various grants and to ensure that the deliverables are met. The publication of UniKL will also be under the purview of this division.

Responsibilities

 

The major responsibilities of this division are as listed below:
  • Coordinate applications for
    - STRG grants
    - FRGS
    - E-Science fund
    - Innofund
  • Monitoring progress of grants
    -     Expenditure
    -     Milestones
    -     Reports
  • Coordinate international research collaborations
  • Secretariat for UniKL journal
  • Organization of research-related workshops
  • Secretariat for R&D committee
  • Conduct workshops on grant applications
