The main role of “The Development and Collaboration Unit (D&C-UIO)” is to enhance to coordinate the International Collaborations – in order to encourage cooperation between UniKL and International Universities / Organisation in the areas of education, academic and staff developments that will benefit both partiesthe , as an active participant in support of the teaching, research and outreach mission of the University. |
Main task
- Develop new international initiatives – grant, collaborator, conferences, etc
- Manage and coordinate the International Collaborations – in order to encourage cooperation between UniKL and International Universities / Organisation in the areas of education, academic and staff developments that will benefit both parties. This includes:
- Organize working visits to new partners and manage visit from partner institution (program, logistics support)
- Coordination and follow through of Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement with new partners
- Liaison with new partners on program implementation
- Respond to general contacts from other institutions (e-mails)
- Receive casual visitors from International institutions
- Establish and update UniKL International database on the International Collaboration with International partners, to be shared with all respective Centers and campuses
- To manage and to apply the application of license for International Students Intake (Surat Kelulusan Pengambilan Pelajar Antarabangsa) from MOHE for all UniKL campuses
- To liaise with the respective campuses and International partners on the Planning and implemention of International Students Exchange programme
- To establish UniKL International Alumni
