Technopreneur Development and Innovation Division (TDID)

Technopreneur Development and Innovation Division (TDID) is the centre that is responsible to coordinate, promote, manage and supervise all activities pertaining to the technopreneur development and innovation. TDID is entrusted in providing the linkage between the university and the industry as a whole in the development of technopreneurs amongst the university graduates and others. This linkage is the catalyst to promote and develop the Bumiputeras especially the Malays involvement in achieving the Bumiputera Commercial and Industrial Community (BCIC). The thrust of TDID is to minimise the financial dependency of the centre towards UniKL and the government through various activities and programs. Where possible, TDID should be able to provide income generating capabilities to UniKL. Our strategies for success in realizing this mission are;

  • Commercialisation of Technology
  • Smart Partnership with local Institution of Higher Learning and Technopreneurs
  • Development of funding network with funding providers
  • development of Technology Incubator Centre
  • Smart partnership with MNC, GLC, and private companies
  • Development of marketing, distribution and suppliers networks
  • Protect of Intellectual Property
