Centre for Industrial Linkages

Overview

The Centre for Industrial Linkages (CIL) has been established on May 2013 to operate as a catalyst towards engaging with the industry order to address the needs of both the industry and the university. CIL is the gateway for the industry and university to seek new opportunity to complement each other and to develop talents suitable for current industry needs.

CIL opens the door for industries to link with UniKL students by way of offering industrial training, internships and hiring opportunities. Industries can share and contribute their expertise in developing human capital by partnering with the university through programs that help nurture and prepare students to make them relevant to the industries.

Objective

To ensure more than 80% of graduates having careers within six months upon completion of their studies.
To act as a one-stop referral centre or gateway for the industry and the graduates.
To ensure that the link with industry and graduate is in line with the vision and mission of the university.
To ensure that linkages with the industries are effective and sustainable.
To raise and create the linkages at state, national, regional and international levels.
