Kudos to BMI ESPORT! UniKL representative ends PMCC SEA 2021 with top-10 finish

Hats off to UniKL British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI) representative, BMI ESPORT that managed to end the prestigious e-sport tournament, PUBG Mobile Campus Championship Southeast Asia 2021 (PMCC SEA 2021) on a fine note with an eighth-place finish.

BMI ESPORT which consists of Aqil Hamizi Mohd Sabri, Ahmad Syauqi Nurolhadi, Muhammad Hafizuddin Ariffuddin, and Muhammad Salihin Zulkifli, beat eight other final opponents and racking up a total of 64 points with one chicken dinner.

On the first day of the tournament, BMI ESPORT was among the top three teams that hit a chicken dinner with 48 points, leaving the 12 other opponents behind.

TFES NOVA from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT), meanwhile, claimed 12th place with a total of 42 points.

Previously, TFES NOVA and BMI ESPORT respectively finished as top three winners at PUBG Mobile Campus Championship (PMCC) 2021.

After an intense competition with the highest combined number of points at the PMCC 2021, both teams joined PMCC 2021’s champion, PMS PHANTOM from Politeknik Muadzam Shah at PMCC SEA 2021.

Overall, the e-sport tournament that kicked off on 4 December 2021 has announced PMS PHANTOM from Politeknik Muadzam Shah as runner-up and pursing a cash prize of US$1,500.

PMS PHANTOM lost the title to UNP SHARK from the Philippines as the latter was crowned as champion with a total of 146 points and two chicken dinners.

PMCC SEA 2021 is a campus tournament series in Southeast Asia that features the top teams from campuses around Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines fighting for the prize pool of US$10,000.
