Bachelor of Biochemical Engineering Technology (Biosystem) with Honours

Sarjana Muda Teknologi Kejuruteraan Biokimia (Biosystem) dengan Kepujian

Biosystems engineering technology combines engineering principles with biology to solve problems. They ensure that we have the necessities of life:

  • Safe and plentiful food to eat
  • Pure water to drink
  • Healthy environmental resources

Biosystems Engineering students learn to integrate the physical properties and growth of plants, animals and micro-organisms and environmental interactions, into engineering applications, using data analysis, test equipment, and the engineering design process. They seek enduring solutions to the most important challenges of our time. They make sure the food you eat is safe by:

  • Designing sterilization and pasteurization processes
  • Developing rapid detection methods, such as biosensors
