Two UniKL teams finished top three at PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021

TFES NOVA and BMI ESPORT from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Technology (UniKL MIIT) and UniKL British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI) respectively finished as top three winners at PUBG Mobile Campus Championship (PMCC) 2021.

TFES NOVA was announced as runner-up and racked up a total of 105 points, while BMI ESPORT gained one chicken dinner with 102 points and eventually bagged third place.

Both teams will also be joined by PMCC 2021’s champion, PMS PHANTOM from Politeknik Muadzam Shah at PMCC SEA 2021, where they will compete against the best collegiate PUBG Mobile teams from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

The top three winners won a share of the prize pool with a total RM60,000 and a year’s worth of Mission Corn Strips.

Notably, PMCC 2021 is presented by Yoodo – Malaysia’s first fully customisable and 100 percent digital telco.

In a statement, Head of PUBG Mobile Southeast Asia Esports, Gaga Li said that PMCC 2021 brought out the best of Malaysian collegiate teams for their passion for PUBG Mobile which was equally exciting to watch.

PMCC 2021 received a total of over 1,000 participants in 344 teams from more than 200 higher learning institutions across Malaysia.

The Grand Finals, broadcasted live on Yoodo’s platforms, received over 1 million views.

The day two of the Grand Finals saw fans enjoying a show match between the Top 16 PMCC Teams and three influencer teams, consisting of big names such as Soloz, Daddyhood, Yakuza, Boyka, Mossgoku, Manparang, Master Ramen, and Pemburu.
