UniKL equips 12 CACS representatives with news reporting, videography skills

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) has equipped a total of 12 Center for Alumni & Career Services representatives from all campuses across Malaysia with news reporting and videography skills.

A driven initiative by UniKL Alumni Relations and Connection Hub (ARCH), the one-day course is designed to boost the skills of the participants, with an eye toward further enhancing the relationship between UniKL and its alumni – Nakhoda Kemajuan.

“Overall, the training has met its objectives and all the participants are eager to produce their content for the social media platforms,” remarked the Director of UniKL CACS, Azrul Hisyam Abdul Rahman, who was also present during the training held yesterday on 6 April 2022.

In one of the steps to promote more credible and talented alumni, the training will also help them curate and publish creative content on social media and the UniKL Alumni website.

In this one-day training, two sections were covered namely Data Management, which deals with how to report news, as well as Video and Photo Management, which covers video editing and photography composition.

The virtual training session was provided by the Corporate Branding & Strategic Communication Department (CBSCD).

Since its inception, CACS has been proactively keeping in touch with the alumni of UniKL through various programmes including the Korang Apa Cer series, co-organising a seminar of HIRE ME NOW, as well as a few series of physical engagement sessions with alumni.
