Jelajah Pendidikan : UniKL’s participation continues in Padang Terap

During the tour, more than 50 visitors including the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) leavers while visiting UniKL’s booth expressed their interest to embark on further education at the technical university.

Speaking at the event, YB Senator Datuk Dr. Haji Azhar Ahmad, said that the previous tour series has received encouraging responses from various walks of life, especially parents, school dropouts, and those who are less fortunate.

“Through this educational tour, people who are knowledgeable and skilled can be created thus helping the development of human capital of a country,” said him, delivering his speech, who represented Minister of Rural Development (KPLB), YB Dato’ Seri Mahdzir Khalid, yesterday (27 March 2022).

UniKL first joined JPKM 2022 in Bera, Pahang on 13 March 2022, as part of its effort to help provide further education opportunities to underprivileged youths.

JPKM 2022 is an initiative and special project by Prime Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat (YAB) Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to provide higher education opportunities to the entire community, especially those in rural areas.

The JPKM Secretariat will travel throughout the country to find, identify, and assist the target of 50,000 SPM graduates in 2016 until 2021 who come from underprivileged families.

This programme, in the form of an educational exhibition, involves the participation of all public universities and high skill institutions in Malaysia.
