Programme Overview

Foundation in Computer Technology is designed to emphasize on practical and hands-on whereby the students participate actively for their learning. This programme will produce graduates who are knowledgeable and competent in Computer Technology fields, qualified and capable to pursue further education at Universiti Kuala Lumpur or other institutions of higher learning. This is Self Sponsored programme.

Programme Aims

To prepare students en route to the bachelor programmes at Universiti Kuala Lumpur in the field of information technology, computer science, multimedia design and computer animation.
To equips students with the academic knowledge and practical skills in computing and technology.
To improve students’ English proficiency.

Entry Requirements Local Students

Pass in SPM with at least credits in five (5) subjects; OR
Pass in O-Level with at least Grade C credits in five (5) subjects; OR
Other equivalent qualifications and international qualifications.

Program Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.

Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.

Demonstrate an understanding of the possibilities, problems, and history of discourse and deliberation in democracy and will be prepared to use their knowledge to work for a just and more humane world.
