Program Learning Outcomes
Programme Overview
This programme is designed to prepare and equip students with the required technical knowledge and skills for employment in a wide range of industries which use multimedia applications. Graduates may work with manufacturers, production houses, television stations, advertising companies, newspapers, publishing houses, and other relevant industries.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)
- PEO1: To produce graduates who are knowledgeable, competent and innovative, contributing towards human capital requirements in creative industries.
- PEO2: To produce graduates who have effective leadership and teamwork skills as well as verbal, non-verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to support roles in creative industries.
- PEO3: To produce graduates who are committed to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
- PEO4: To produce graduates who practice professionalism with ethics and social responsibility.
- PEO5: To produce graduates who are capable of participating in business and technopreneurial activities in the industries.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)
- PLO1: Apply knowledge of animation using procedures, processes and methodologies to produce creative content.
- PLO2: Select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and tools to design solutions with understanding of limitations to meet specified needs.
- PLO3: Demonstrate awareness and consideration for societal, safety, and consequential responsibilities.
- PLO4: Demonstrate awareness and commitment to professional ethics and responsibilities, and norms of animation practice.
- PLO5: Communicate and function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in diverse technical teams.
- PLO6: Identify, formulate, research literature, and solve problems using appropriate animation tools, skills, and techniques.
- PLO7: Recognize the need for, and have the ability to engage in independent and lifelong learning.
- PLO8: Demonstrate awareness and understanding of management, business practice, and technopreneurial activities.

- Pass Certificate MQF Level 3 with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent; OR
- Pass SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject; OR
- Pass a minimum of one (1) semester pre-diploma programme with SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject; OR
- Pass STPM or its equivalent with a minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any subject; OR
- Pass STAM (Grade Maqbul) or its equivalent; OR
- APEL A as prescribed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA); OR
- Other recognised qualifications or equivalent.

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the possibilities, problems, and history of discourse and deliberation in democracy and will be prepared to use their knowledge to work for a just and more humane world.
