Program Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the possibilities, problems, and history of discourse and deliberation in democracy and will be prepared to use their knowledge to work for a just and more humane world.

Analyse and relate broad knowledge of OSH concepts and principles, incorporating technical skills in OSH practices. - PEO 2:

Career Information
Graduate from this programme will be able to undertake safety and health professional roles in various sectors as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Executive, Safety and Health Officer (SHO), OSH Coordinator, Industrial Hygienist, OSH Competent Person (OYK) and HSE Consultant.
Local Students
- A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any TWO subjects* OR
- a pass in STAM with at least Grade Jayyid* OR
- Matriculation or Foundation with at least a CGPA of 2.00* OR
- a Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with at least a CGPA of 2.00* OR
- a Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia OR
- other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Additional requirement for i – iv:
- A credit in ONE Science subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science) at SPM level or equivalent qualifications (Refer to the notes(*) below).
Notes:
- *A credit in ONE Science subject at SPM level or equivalent qualifications.
- Those without a credit in Mathematics and/or Science subjects at the SPM level or equivalent can be admitted but are required to attend special enhancement course(s).
- These special enhancement courses should be SPM equivalent, remedial in nature.
- Students must pass the Mathematics and Science subject enhancement courses as a pre-requisite to the related core course.
