Program Learning Outcomes
Overview
This Bachelor of Nursing Science (Honours) programme will prepares the graduate with knowledge and skills to provide a holistic approach to the nursing profession. The programme promotes, expands and validates scientific knowledge and evidence-based practice through nursing and interdisciplinary research. The graduates are eligible to sit for Nursing Board Malaysia (NBM) licensing examination to become a qualified registered nurse.Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1 Acquire basic mastery knowledge, cognitive skills and practical skills needed to be a competent and innovative nurse.
- PEO2 Effectively lead team with leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to support their roles in the health care industry.
- PEO3 Solve nursing challenges by committing towards the importance of lifelong learning and continuous improvement using digital and numeracy skills.
- PEO4 Acquire ethics and professionalism in fulfilling social responsibility.
- PEO5 Demonstrate capability of embarking on business and technopreneurial activities for a successful career advancement in nursing.

a) Possess Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or *equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.0; OR
b) Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) minimum 2.0 (Jayyid); OR
c) UEC minimum grade B6; OR
d) Matriculation/Foundation with minimum CGPA 2.5; OR
e) Any Diploma/Bachelor Degree with minimum CGPA 2.5 (Credit transfer are allow for Basic Medical Science/ Behavioural Science) equivalent MQF Level 4/ Level 6; OR
f) **Diploma in Nursing with minimum CGPA 2.5 from a recognised institution by MQA;** AND
g) Possess current PC/RON for nurses from MNB (for conventional programme) (3.1.14); OR
h) Possess current PC/RON for nurses from MNB (before clinical placement for ODL programme) (3.1.14); AND
i) Minimum Credit Bahasa Melayu in SPM/Grade C in SVM
English Language Competency as Entry Requirement (International Students)
Attain proficiency in English language with any one (1) of the following exam results;
1) MUET with minimum of Band 3 as a graduation requirement. OR
2) A pass in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 5.5; OR
3) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): TOEFL Paper Based Test (TOEFL PBT) a minimum score of 453; OR
4) TOEFL Computer Based Test (TOEFL CBT) a minimum score of 133; OR

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.
