Program Learning Outcomes
Overview
Project management is a professional discipline, with its own body of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to successfully achieve specific goals and objectives within a specified time and constraints. It involves managing a project from inception to completion through the five main phases which includes the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of the project. The Bachelor of Project Management (Honours) programme covers the core disciplinary courses which includes Project Management, Integrated Project Management, Project Estimation and Budgeting, Project Scheduling and Control, Project Quality Management, Project Procurement, Project Risk management and Sustainability and Green Project Management. The Bachelor of Project Management programme adopts a generic approach to project management and is applicable to any project in a variety of industries such as construction, engineering, education, health, commerce, information technology, research, and development. Upon completion of the programme, the students will be able to work in the capacity of Coordinators and Leads, Executives, Officers, and Managers within the industry. The Project Management Institute (PMI) predicted that Project Management will be the fastest growing occupation and there is a growing demand for Project Executives and Managers all over the world.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

Possess in-depth and comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge for Project Management in business. - PEO2:
Possess comprehensive managerial and entrepreneurial skills to perform effectively and responsibly in the management of projects in different organisations. - PEO3:
Use a broad range of digital applications and analytical techniques to support Project Management for business functions. - PEO4:
Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, interpersonal communication, creativity and innovation skills in Project Management. - PEO5:
Commit and seek learning for continuous development in Project Management.

- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any TWO subjects*; OR

- Matriculation or Foundation with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR
- A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR

- A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval**; OR
- A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval**;
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
- Achieve a minimum Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) OR equivalent to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (Low B2) ***.
- Can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with an equivalent / higher achievement.
- Malaysian students using English as the medium of instruction in their previous study or with at least Band 2 in MUET or equivalent can be exempted from a pass in English requirement.
- Those without a pass in Mathematics and/or English at SPM level or equivalent can be admitted but are required to attend special enhancement course(s). These special enhancement courses should be SPM equivalent, remedial in nature. Students must pass the Mathematics and English enhancement courses as a prerequisite to related core courses taught in English.

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
Be able to use a variety of methodological tools to analyze interpersonal, intercultural, and rhetorical discourse that structures everyday interactions in both our public and private lives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the possibilities, problems, and history of discourse and deliberation in democracy and will be prepared to use their knowledge to work for a just and more humane world.
