Program Learning Outcomes
Overview
The Pre-France programme is a 13 months long preparatory programme aimed for students with academic excellence to pursue their studies in France via our collaboration partners, the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) for the first 2 years before they can apply to enrol into Ecole d’Ingénieur (School of Engineering) for Master’s in Engineering or French Universities for Master’s in Science.
Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute has been aptly chosen to be the centre for this preparatory programme as it stresses on the concept of teaching and learning in the French way.
Through the France Collaboration Programme (FCP) Section, the Pre-France programme was developed through the actual experience of those who have gone through years of experience of living and studying in France, thus making this programme a success.
Application to this programme can be made under the Young Talent Development Programme (YTP) for MARA and PROGRAM KHAS JEPUN, KOREA, PERANCIS, JERMAN (JKPJ) for JPA.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Students will be educated to:
- PEO 1:
Produce students who are competent, knowledgeable, and innovative in subjects related to Political Science and Business to success in French higher education institutions. - PEO 2:
Produce students, who developed critical thinking skills, possess effective leadership and team work as well as communication skills to support their role in industry. - PEO 3:
Produce multilingual students who can adapt to new cultures in order to facilitate interactions within a professional international environment while maintaining their ethics and social responsibility. - PEO 4:
Produce students who are able to identify diplomatic, economic as well as entrepreneurial issues and propose a range of relevant solutions. - PEO 5:
Produce students, who are committed to the importance of lifelong learning, quest for knowledge and continuous improvement.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
Majors in Automotive Maintenance will be able to:
- PLO1:
Demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of World of Politics and Principles of Business in order to explain the causes and consequences of major contemporary worldwide events. - PLO2:
Demonstrate the knowledge of Mathematics in understanding the basic concepts of Economics and Finance. - PLO3:
Analyze current global issues in order to determine the causes and consequences of political, economic and business situations. - PLO4
Deliver eloquent presentations and defend opinion in a debate supported by relevant arguments. - PLO5:
Perform the appropriate techniques and methods in writing essays and document review in Politics and Business. - PLO6:
Understand and analyze any text with a critical and scientific approach. Search and corroborate of information in order to produce composition and critical review. - PLO7:
Search and corroborate of information in order to produce composition and critical review. - PLO8:
Demonstrate good oral and written skills in formal and non-formal situations both in French and English languages. - PLO9:
Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse team works. - PLO10:

Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of management, business practices and entrepreneurial competencies. - PLO12:

Education Pathway
For Pre-France SPBM, students could choose to pursue their studies in Political Sciences or Business Management in France. Students who successfully complete the foundation programme and meet sponsor’s requirements will make their way to France and enrol in the first year of the university of choice. - 3 or 4 years depending on the University of choice
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree
- Upon completion of Bachelor’s degree, students could apply for a Master’s degree programme. *subject to sponsor’s approval

1).Meet the minimum requirements of the Program Standard / professional body requirements / MQA recommendations that are in force for student intake during that period; OR
2).Other qualifications that were recognized as equivalent by the Government.
- a).Any changes to the Program Standard / professional body requirements / MQA recommendations will only apply to new student cohorts.
- b).The implementation of entry requirements based on the Program Standard / professional body requirements / MQA Recommendations applies according to the provisions stated in the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) circular at the time of enforcing the application of a particular Program Standard / professional body requirements / MQA Recommendations

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
