Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
  • PLO 1:
    Master enhanced knowledge and skills in research subjects as well as current developments in applied bioscience research.

    Apply progressive, innovative and creative ideas and strategies for conducting research activities in applied bioscience.
  • PLO 3:
    Identify and evaluate problems related to applied bioscience research in the society and provide holistic solutions for the problems and suggest implementation of policies and guidelines when necessary.
  • PLO 4:
    Execute the ability to conduct research with minimal supervision and strictly adhere to legal, professional and ethical values in the field of applied bioscience research.

Entry Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 from local or any other institutions of higher learning as approved by the Senate of UniKL; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with a CGPA between 2.50 to 2.75 is acceptable for admission, subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with CGPA less than 2.50, with at least 5 years relevant working experience is acceptable for admission.
English Language Requirement (International Students)
  • Minimum of IELTS Band 5 OR TOEFL 500.

Demonstrate an understanding of how communication shapes patterns of social interaction, the expression of cultural values and norms, political practices and relations of power, and our positions as local and global citizens.
