Diploma of Engineering Technology in Computing
Diploma Teknologi Kejuruteraan Komputer
This programme enables students to gain a sound knowledge and educational experience in the field of engineering and computing. Students gain knowledge in debugging, analysis and maintenance on computer equipment and its peripheral with the aid of latest educational technologies. Throughout the programme, students will be encouraged to develop a wide range of hardware and software knowledge and skills in the areas of digital electronics, computer architectures, software engineering and electronics product development. The course features a combination of theoretical and practical elements with virtually all subjects featuring a large amount of laboratory-based work. The project work is designed to develop management skills which will enable students to take responsibility for major computer-based projects after graduation.

- LAN Manager
- Planning, design, install and management of networking systems
- Manufacturing of computer products, such as computer system manufacturing and its related apparatus like computer screen, disc drive, printer, scanner and audio amplifier
- Manufacturing of consumer’s product that based on computer, for example TV, CD & DVD player, alarm system and security system
- Manufacturing of electronics component, become Assistant IC Test and Analysis Engineer
- R&D which beneficial to multinational industries, local industries, small-scale industries, universities and local agency like MIMOS and SIRIM
- Secondary industry which the end product is not the electronics product but it depends on electronics system to produce the product, for example oil filtering factory, textile factory and food manufacturing industries
- Service industries, including telephone industries, multimedia industries, hospital and transportation;
