E-Piala Menteri Pengajian Tinggi: UniKL bags second place

Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) finished runner up in the FIFA22 Ultimate Team category at the grand finals of E-Piala Menteri Pengajian Tinggi 2021, yesterday.

Muhammad Adam Danial Azhar from UniKL Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (MIAT) who represented the technical university for the tournament, was defeated by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) player by a margin of 4-1 on aggregate.

The two players initially had a head-to-head in the semi-finals where Muhammad Adam Danial managed to lead by two goals in the first league of the winners bracket.

However, UiTM managed to make an epic comeback to win the match by a margin of 3-2 on aggregate.

They finally met again in the grand finals match, seeing UiTM won the championship by 4-1 against UniKL, leaving UniKL to bring home the runner-up title.

For the record, Muhammad Adam Danial was never defeated during the tournament and collected full-15 points prior to the grand finals match.

He brought home RM700 in cash along with a medal and certificate. Organised by Ministry of Higher Education, the semi-finals and grand finals of FIFA22 Ultimate Team category were held virtually on Oct 23-24./p>
