Universiti Kuala Lumpur’s (UniKL) Genesis Community Bootcamp 2023 left an indelible mark on 288 students spanning the university’s north-to-south campus, immersing them in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.

Conducted from November 24 to 26, 2023, this boot camp not only expanded participants’ knowledge but also provided an unparalleled platform for networking and collaboration, setting the stage for potential startup ventures.

The Teknoputra Division, orchestrating this transformative experience, aimed to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and deepen students’ understanding of startup enterprises, nurturing the emergence of the next wave of innovative leaders.

Under the guidance of a seasoned team of Master Trainers, featuring Mrs. Siti Noor Kamariah Yaakop (UniKL MIMET), Dr. Warren Sim Wan Jie (UniKL MITEC), Dr. Ainul Yusnita Mohamad Yusop (Teknoputra Chancellery), Mrs. Norazura Rahim (Teknoputra Chancellery), and Abd. The goal was to intricately showcase and enhance each participant’s entrepreneurial traits, competencies, and unique qualities, fostering a holistic and enriching learning experience.

Teams of participants were assigned the task of conceptualising and presenting their business ideas at the boot camp’s conclusion.

This environment, conducive to teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation, spotlighted the diverse talent within UniKL’s student body.

Notably, the event was honoured by the presence of UniKL’s Acting President/CEO, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Azman Senin, Director of Teknoputra, Ts. Dr. Mohd Nasir Alias, Dean/Head of Campus of UniKL MICET, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Zulhafiz Tajudin, and Deputy Dean (International, Industrial & Institutional Partnership) of UniKL MICET, Ts.
